Ghana’s 2019 Robofest World champions team pays courtesy visit to US Ambassador to Ghana

The US Ambassador to Ghana, Stephanie S. Sullivan, has welcomed the 2019 Robofest World champions and a team from the Ghana Robotics Academy Foundation, when they paid a courtesy visit to the embassy on June 13, 2019.

The 2019 Robofest World champions from Methodist Girls’ SHS, Mamfe and staff members from the school, together with other winners from Ghana, and a team from the Ghana Robotics Academy Foundation met with US Ambassador to Ghana, Stephanie Sullivan, during a courtesy visit to the embassy.

Ambassador Sullivan congratulated the young winners on their enviable achievement and reiterated how proud Ghanaians and the embassy is of the work Dr. Okraku-Yirenkyi and the entire Ghana Robotics Academy Foundation is doing to promote Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education in Ghana.
